1. President, Jim Roux opened with The Pledge of Allegiance and began the
meeting at 7:03 p.m.  Twenty-two (22) members were present.
2. Secretary's Report: Cindy Roux presented the minutes from the September
27th meeting for the membership to read.  Lou made a motion to pass the minutes
it was seconded and passed.
3. Treasurer's Report: Lou Forni produced the report (attached).  A motion
was made by Carol Harris to accept Lou’s report as read, which was seconded,
accepted and passed.
4. OLD BUSINESS:
A.
Club Merchandise: Some changes have been made this year with the clothing
that is available to the membership.  Please visit the website or check the entry table
for with order forms and updates.  
The next order will go in on December 15th.  
Delivery is usually in time for Christmas.  Let us know so we can be prepared.
B. MSA Show:  Bob Hanson attended the show and told us that it was a good
show.  He brought brochures back for the International Show in Madawaska giving
us a heads up for the Club Trip in January 2008.
C. Community Service:  Christi Wilson reported that her mom took a packet of
information in to SHS’s, Mr. Troy Watts and talked about if the Sno-Goers and the
SHS could work together with Community Service hours for students interested.  
More information will be reported on this issue.  Questions and answers need to be
evaluated from the HS before more recommendations can be made.
D. Bottles and Cans:  Steph presented Lou with $100 from their recent collection.  
The membership was thanked for getting the bottles and cans to the Clubhouse.

6. NEW BUSINESS:
A.
Pat’s Pizza: The new owner has contacted us about giving club members a 10%
discount.  They are interested in being added to our local map.  Steve will contact the
owner as part of the Map Committee.
B. Alpha Sports:
October 13th at 9:00 a.m. is a Blow Out Sale.  New and used sleds will be on sale.
C. Hartford Agency: Their business was sold to North East Bank.  We will need to
watch for the improved pricing and product line.
D. Wal-Mart Weekend: October 27th and 28th (Sat/Sun) have been put aside for
ticket sales at Wal-Mart.  Three shifts need to be covered from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
both days.  Sign up now.  This sale is weather permitting.  We will be asking Wilderness
Motor Sports, this year, for a display of a Snowmobile and ATV as decided by the
membership.  Each year we contact various dealerships in town for help.
E. Board Meeting:  To answer questions that were given to the Club about a bridge
and the Grant Writer, a Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 16th at 6:30 p.
m., allowing for answers and discussion about questions that need answers from the
Historical Committee.
F. Classified: Can a home based business be put on the website for a club member.  
The membership agreed that this is a case-by-case decision.  They also gave a yes vote
for Carol Harris to advertise her Pet Sitting Business.

8. 50/50:  Carol Harris won the $10.00 prize!   Congratulations!!  
9. Next Meeting: Our next meeting will be held on October 25th, 2007 at 7pm.
10. Adjournment: A motion was made by Carol Harris at 7:46 p.m. to adjourn the
meeting.  It was seconded and passed.

5.  COMMITTEE REPORTS:
A. Trailmaster:
Subsection:  Trailmaster Report.  Donald Roux  
* Don spoke with ... about the bridge.  Jerry needs to see the site.
* Don heard from ...the Grant Writer, about the Historic Committee input.
* The application process has a due date for this year.  Don will determine if
everything can be done in time to start the application process for this year.
* All estimates are due for this to begin.  The cut date is in one week.

Subsection:  Maintenance Update.  Dave Leck
Dave reported that we would be doing Trail Work on Sunday at 8:00 a.m.

B. Membership Committee:
Mike Mosher reported that we had 10 renewals.  No business renewals are in
yet, and no new members.   
Memberships expired on September 30th so sign up now!  

C. Activities Committee: Denise Roux had no report.  Paul Haven let us
know that Monday the hold on the rooms expired and if you want a room it
was time to call.  Need more information on the Club Trip?  Check online at

D. Safety Committee: No Report.
E. Scholarship Committee:  No Report.  A March 1, 2008 postmark date is
the deadline in getting your scholarship application in.
