| Southern Maine Sno-Goers Minutes of Meeting #164 March 8, 2007 |
| 1. President, Jim Roux said, “Welcome!� This evening we had 12 members in attendance. We said The Pledge of Allegiance and began the meeting at 7:05 p.m. 2. Secretary’s Report: Cindy Roux presented the minutes from the February 22nd meeting for the membership to read. Cindy pointed out two mistakes and Jim found another, a typographical error. Cindy promised the minutes would reflect the amendments for online access and at the next meeting. A motion to accept as amended was made by Bob Hansen, was granted and passed. (Amended page attached.) 3. Treasurer’s Report: Lou Forni was absent. Jim read his report (attached). Dave Leck made a motion to accept Lou’s report as read. This was accepted and passed. |
| 6. NEW BUSINESS: A. Website Letter: A letter came in from the website. It has been forwarded on to a club member in the designated area at the request of Jim who will monitor the situation. B. Incorporation: Our application to renew our incorporation is due April of 2007. The amount is nominal ($35) and we will be renewing. C. Camp WABAN: March 17th we will present our $250 donation to the Camp! Jim will present it on behalf of the Club. |
| 5. COMMITTEE REPORTS: A. Membership Committee: Mike Mosher reported we have 63 paid members. He would like us to welcome our newest business member: Paul Brandis. Welcome!! B. Activities Committee: No club ride this weekend. C. Safety Committee: Don Allaire asked us to be careful and watch all the lakes because ridges form and can cause devastating results. Be watching for the MSA Safety Training. If you would like to be an instructor, want to assist Don or enjoy learning. D. Trailmaster(s): PART I: Update on the trails ~ ** The trails have snow, but it is frozen solid. There is no exposed ground. E. Scholarship Committee: Our next meeting will decide the scholarship recipient. F. Bottles and Cans: No report. |
| 4. OLD BUSINESS: A. Traxter Fix: The Boggie Wheel on the front has been repaired. The Traxter is ready to go again. |
